Electric Construction Equipment
Volvo’s goal is to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible and to be a driving force behind the evolution of the construction industry for years to come. Sticking to its promise of laying the foundation for a more sustainable world, Volvo has launched its line of electric construction machines. For Volvo, the future is electric.
Volvo’s new line of construction equipment not only protects the environment but, it also minimizes the harmful effects of maneuvering construction equipment for long periods of time for your drivers. This new line of Volvo machines was designed to have low vibrations and silent operations.
Operators exposed to vibrations for a certain amount of time may gain headaches, fatigue, and back pain. This is why Volvo’s electric machines were designed to keep vibrations to a minimum. Noise exposure is also detrimental to your drivers because it can severely affect their hearing over time.
Volvo’s electronic construction equipment was made to eliminate exhaust fumes and vehicle emissions. Due to the elimination of exhaust fumes and emissions, your team can safely bring these units indoors without worrying about health risks.
Volvo currently offers five electric construction machines – the most any manufacturer offers. These units can operate up to eight hours a day on a single charge and will only need to be charged one to one and half hours to reach up to 80% power. Combined with the Electric Machines Management Application app, your team will always have the information they need about the unit, no matter where they may be.
Hybrid Heavy Machine
Along with Volvo’s launch of electric machines, Volvo has also upgraded the EC300E to have a hybrid option. The EC300E’s new hybrid technology results in it having an increase of up to 17% in fuel efficiency – all while delivering maximum power, performance, and durability.
The Volvo EC300E retains its maximum lifting capacity of 11460kg while reducing CO2 emission by up to 15%, making it the best choice for highly urbanized areas and for companies wanting to lessen their carbon footprint.
The EC300E is ready to take on any job. When you add this unit to your fleet of vehicles, you’ll surely get a new reliable team member with reduced maintenance requirements, equipped with an engine auto-regeneration feature, and reinforced engine parts.
You can count on the Hybrid EC300E to deliver all your company’s requirements with minimal maintenance costs and maximum performance.
